The Valley Trust has been a centre for comprehensive primary health care since its inception in 1953. We seek to promote good health through the principles of primary health care and people-centred development as reflected in our vision:
"Communities in which people take responsibility for improving their own health and quality of life within a democratic society."
Central to this is our core purpose to create and hold processes that enable people to realise their own potential. The Valley Trust has recently been awarded PBO (Public Benefit Organisation) status (PBO 18/11/13/2817) and is a fully accredited training provider by the Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority (HWSETA) no. HW592PA0300021.
